About & editorial standards
An independent publication for people asking better questions about CBD.
CBDHelpsThat is an independent educational publication from Melton Digital Ventures. We explain CBD research, safety considerations, and product documentation in language readers can use.
We are a consumer publication, not a peer-reviewed medical journal, a healthcare practice, or a source of personal treatment recommendations. Our name asks a question; it does not guarantee a benefit.
How we approach the evidence
- Link to the source. We prioritize original research and public health agencies. Each explainer identifies the material it uses.
- Name the limits. We distinguish small studies from broad conclusions, and CBD alone from combinations with THC or other ingredients.
- Keep uncertainty visible. Labels such as “early evidence” are editorial summaries of selected sources, not formal clinical grades.
- Separate composition from treatment. A laboratory report describes a sample; it does not establish a medical benefit.
- Show dates. Publication and source-consultation dates describe when the article was prepared. They do not mean all cited research is new.
Authorship and medical review
This first edition was prepared with AI assistance for research synthesis, drafting, and production. It has not received independent clinical review. The editorial-desk byline describes the publication’s content; it does not imply a team of physicians or a named medical reviewer.
We do not manufacture credentials, patient testimonials, clinical experience, or product testing. Editorial imagery is illustrative and AI-generated. No image depicts a product we tested or a scientific specimen we examined.
Corrections
If a claim is inaccurate, outdated, or missing context, please send the page address and the supporting source to erik@meltondigitalventures.com. Corrections that change the meaning of an article should be documented with an updated date and a correction note.
